Re design of my CV

After sitting in marias lecture this week and looking at other peoples CV's and business cards i gave me lots of cool ideas for how i wanted to do mine. After sitting down and thinking about how i wanted to brand myself and the logo and design i wanted to use. these are what i came up with which im quite pleased with:

CV: This i am very pleased with, I came up with a logo in illustrator buy drawing a cog on paper and then tracing it. I dont know why i like this but i think it works well as a simple logo, and as maria said if it fits lots of different application and scenarios it should work well, which it did. As for the text i just stripped my original one right down so that it would fit on one page and still give enough detail and info to the employer as the examples maria showed us did.

  1. I'm finding a little bit difficult to read based in the fact you're using white typo over a light colour. Test the same design with a deeper orange and see if it becomes more legible.
You can also try swaping the colour black for the main text boxes and the white for the titles. Maybe you can also work with titles in Impact style (is it this the typo you are using? Looks quite similar to Impact...)and change it to white. See if it works and if it doesn't make the text to heavy.

    Hope this helps,
    Mariana.
